Dr. JB Lombaard began his medical career in South Africa, where he gained valuable experience working in a rural hospital setting. In 2013, he relocated to Canada to continue his medical journey. Recognizing the need for specialized care in male reproductive health, Dr. Lombaard expanded his expertise in 2016 by completing specialized No-Scalpel Vasectomy training under Dr. Doug Stein, a leading authority in the field, in Florida.
He collaborated with the Rutherford Medical Clinic in Edmonton to establish and grow a dedicated vasectomy service, Alberta Vasectomy. Today, he provides care at Ross Medical, in Red Deer, where he runs a specialized minor surgical procedures clinic, and continues his work as a vasectomist at Rutherford Medical Clinic.
Dr. Lombaard further honed his vasectomy reversal skills by training again with Dr. Doug Stein. He also completed microsurgery training at the prestigious Columbia University Microsurgery Lab in New York. His commitment to excellence ensures that he provides the highest level of care in reproductive health and minor surgical procedures.
