Dr. JB Lombaard
Dr. JB Lombaard is a family physician with advanced training in minor surgical procedures and a specialised focus on microsurgical vasectomy reversals. Originally from South Africa, he began his career in rural hospital medicine before relocating to Canada in 2013.
His surgical training includes No-Scalpel Vasectomy instruction completed in 2016 under Dr. Doug Stein, followed by advanced microsurgery training at Columbia University's Microsurgery Lab in New York. Dr. Lombaard runs a very active vasectomy reversal programme, performing approximately ten procedures per month.
He maintains a vasectomy practice in Edmonton and operates a minor surgical clinic at Ross Medical in Red Deer, where he focuses primarily on microsurgical vasectomy reversals.
